Toyota Hilux prices slashed: New prices, variants explained

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recently revised the prices of its Hilux pick-up truck. Offered in two variants – Standard and High, the Hilux Standard variant has received a price cut of Rs 3.60 lakh, while the High variant has seen a price hike of Rs 1.35 lakh. About a year later, the company has started taking bookings for the Toyota Hilux. Here we have listed the new vs old prices. check out.

The price of the 2023 Toyota Hilux 4X4 standard MT variant has been reduced by Rs 3.60 lakh, while the prices of the high MT and AT variants have increased by Rs 1.35 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh, respectively. Prices for the 2023 Toyota Hilux now start from Rs 30.40 lakh to Rs 37.90 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Toyota Hilux: design and features
The Toyota Hilux measures 5,325mm in length, 1,855mm in width and 1,815mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,085 mm, which makes it one of the largest vehicles in the Indian market. In terms of design, the Hilux is equipped with LED headlamps, a hexagonal chrome grille, beefy plastic cladding above the wheel arches and chrome inserts everywhere.

Talking about the interiors, the Toyota Hilux gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker sound system. The safety suite includes front and rear parking sensors, seven airbags, tire angle monitor, hill assist control, vehicle stability control, ABS with EBD and more.
Toyota Hilux: Engine
Under the hood, the Toyota Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that churns out 201 bhp of peak power and 420 Nm of peak torque in the MT variant and 500 Nm of peak torque in the AT variant. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. In addition, the Toyota Hilux comes with 4X4 drive system and front and rear electronic differential locks as standard.
