Robin Uthappa reveals MS Dhoni’s unique way of eating butter chicken

People have always been curious about the likes and dislikes of cricketers. From the fitness routine he follows to the food he eats on a daily basis – fans are always eager to know the details. Now, how many of you are die-hard fans of the legendary cricketer MS Dhoni? We have good news for you. We recently got to know about some of his unique eating habits thanks to Robin Uthappa, who shared his experience of playing with Dhoni. Uthappa has shared the dressing room with Dhoni while playing for India as well as in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He recently revealed that Dhoni has some “serious” eating habits and even said that Dhoni was quite “freaky” when it came to food.

He revealed that Dhoni and he were part of a large group of friends including Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Piyush Chawla and Munaf Patel. They always eat together and order a lot of dishes. However, Dhoni was a very strict person when it came to his food choices. Whenever he would order butter chicken, Dhoni would eat butter chicken without the chicken. Meaning? He will only have gravy. And when he had chicken, Dhoni avoided eating rotis.

“He will eat butter chicken but without the chicken, only with gravy! When he used to eat chicken, he did not eat rotis. He is quite strange in terms of food. He is not everything. Uthappa also shared that during his first season with IPL team Chennai Super Kings, he saw everyone calling Dhoni “Mahi Bhai”. So, Uthappa asked him too if he could do the same. To this Dhoni said, ‘Call me whatever you want, it doesn’t matter. Please call me Mahi only.

Meanwhile, Dhoni will lead the Chennai Super Kings in this year’s IPL. Videos of him practicing at the Chepauk Stadium are going viral on social media.
