Police sent Gandhi a questionnaire after taking note of his comments on social media, requesting that he provide details about any women who had contacted him in relation to sexual assault. Officials confirmed that the team reached Gandhi’s residence at 12, Tughlaq Lane.
During the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar, Rahul Gandhi reportedly said, “I heard that women are still being sexually assaulted.”
Officials said that the police had asked them to give details of these victims so that they could be provided security.
