NEP will equip students with useful knowledge, says Tamil Nadu Governor

Chennai: New Education Policy (NEP) of the Government of India, aims to equip the students with useful knowledge that will help in their growth as well as the development of the nation, said Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi.
he was speaking at the convocation Annai Violet Arts & Science College Founding President NR Dhanabalan was presiding on Friday in Chennai. He said that everyone has to face failures in life and students should not let failures defeat them.
The country is growing rapidly. He said that five years ago there were only 500 startups in the country, but now we have crossed 90000 and will soon reach the figure of 100000. He said young men and women are doing incredible things, new startups are changing and shaping our country. He said that this is making our country a fast growing economy.
He said, “Our country will celebrate the centenary year of independence in the next 25 years, and then you should decide what you have done for the country.”
We have decided that our country should be a completely self-reliant, self-reliant and fully developed India, he said, adding that this was a global necessity. He said that when many countries are not ready to accept the seriousness of the climate country, India took the initiative to go green and clean and today the country gets 40% of its energy requirement from renewable energy, he said.
