This wildfire comes days after a massive forest fire broke out in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa.

Earlier, Goa Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Wednesday that a detailed inquiry has been ordered into the fire in Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary. After discussion with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, orders for inquiry were given.

The environment ministry also said that no major damage to flora and fauna has been observed so far and the affected areas have been divided into sectors and for intensive management of the forest, DCF and ACF level officers have been assigned immediate fire-fighting duties. has been handed over.
