Malaika Arora’s foodie stories leave us swooning. One of the fittest actresses of Bollywood, the actress is a big foodie. While Malaika loves trying different cuisines from around the world, some traditional comfort food remains her all-time favourite. Wondering what’s new? Malaika is in Bangalore these days. And, it was not possible that she did not enjoy the local cuisine. Along with her team, Malaika visited a restaurant and even shared a picture of her indulgence, which was served on a banana leaf. We saw some varieties of palak dal, sambar, rice, pickle, kheer and a few more. “When in Bangalore… a quick pit stop.” Malaika was clearly missing her partner in crime, yoga instructor Sarvesh Shashi and friend Preeta Sukhtankar.

Staying true to her love for cuisine, Malaika Arora relished an amazing South Indian meal a few days ago. Yes, he posted it on Instagram. Wonder what he ate? It started with a bowl of thair sadam (curd rice) to which mustard seeds were added. Next, we saw a delicious sambar cooked with lentils, carrots, curry leaves, a mixture of spices and red chillies. There were wafers (chips) and a few pieces of murukku to give a crunch to the meal. There was a drop of pickle from the jar kept near Malaika’s plate for a tangy and tangy taste. “Food that nourishes the soul,” she captioned the post. Read all about it here.
For a nutritious and filling lunch, Malaika Arora prefers to have a bowl of curd rice – a classic South Indian dish. His dish was seasoned with dry red and green chillies, peanuts, mustard seeds, urad dal and a few curry leaves. “Curd rice for the win,” she wrote. Check it out here.
