Karan Johar celebrated his mother’s birthday with two delicious cakes, wrote a heart touching note

It’s a special day for Karan Johar. The filmmaker is celebrating his mother’s 80th birthday. On this special occasion, Karan shared many of his pictures with his mother. While some of the snaps were throwbacks featuring Hiroo Johar, others captured adorable mother-son moments. The photo album also had pictures of Hiroo Johar’s cake cutting ceremony. We admit that our eyes stayed on the two deliciously-delicious cakes for more than a minute.

The first was a kiwi and dragon fruit topped cake, which came with chocolate twigs and pink flower details. Next to it was a golden colored cake, originally a crisp coating, with candles and a message, “Cheers 80 Years.” In the caption, Karan Johar wrote, “My brave and resilient Mama turns 80 today. She taught me how to love… how to stand up for what I believe in… if I was right.” So never apologizes or justifies himself… never pretends to be someone he is.

In his long note, Karan addressed his mother as the “fashion police” as well as his “hero”. The director-producer shared that even today, he is the only person he “still fears.” “She is as much my conscience as she is my fashion police… also the only person I am still in awe of… I love you mom to the planet and back…. I would never have been able to raise Ruhi and Yash without you.’ He also added a hashtag reading “mymommyhero”. Check out the pics below.

Let’s just say Karan Johar’s choice of birthday cake is great. Earlier, for the 6th birthday of his twins Yash and Roohi, the filmmaker had customized a Mickey and Minnie Mouse cake. The multi-tiered dessert creation looked every bit as delicious. We got a glimpse of the birthday cake in a compiled birthday video shared by Karan Johar. To keep an eye:
