Rani Mukherjee is back on the big screen Smt. Chatterjee v. Norway, Which was released in theaters on 17 March. The actress has been receiving a lot of praise and appreciation from members of the film fraternity for her portrayal of Devika Chatterjee, a Bengali woman who has to fight against a nation to save her children. The latest star to criticize Rani Mukerji is her cousin, actress Kajol. On Friday, Kajol posted a picture of herself along with sisters Tanishaa and Rani, all dressed in black, and described Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway as a “must-see” film. Kajol reviewed the Ashima Chibber directed film saying that she liked it. In reference to Rani Mukerji’s 2005 film Black And in the latest snap featuring her outfit, Kajol wrote, “All in black! But this time, she’s not doing that, she’s playing Mrs. Chatterjee and Bengali.” -C,” and also added “Loved It”.

Kajol and Tanisha are the daughters of actress Tanuja and filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee, while Rani is the daughter of Shomu’s cousin and filmmaker Ram Mukherjee-Krishna.

Tanisha Mukherjee also praised Rani Mukherjee fiercely Mrs. Chatterjee v. Norway, Sharing a similar picture of the trio from the film’s screening, Tanishaa wrote, “What a film! What a performance! An absolute must see! This true story of Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway could not have been portrayed more realistically! Rani is extremely talented in how she makes us feel that we are with her as a mother at every step. We feel every emotion!

Mrs. Chatterjee v. Norway Produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment. It is based on the true story of an NRI mother living in Norway with her husband and their two children. Her life is turned upside down after her children are taken away by the Norwegian foster care system due to cultural differences.

The film also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Tina Tourite.
