Mathura: A illegal arms factory It was busted after an encounter in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura and three people were arrested, police said on Sunday. He said the police saw a fire burning at some distance and shortly after one of the accused started firing at the team.
In retaliatory firing, one of the criminals got shot in the leg and was arrested. He said that after the encounter, two of his accomplices were also arrested.
The accused have been identified as Akram, Bhola and Neeraj, the police said.
According to the police, arms, ammunition and machines used in making weapons have been recovered from the spot.
The injured criminal has been hospitalised, while two others are being interrogated, police said.
