Virat Kohli was out LBW once again on Sunday. In the 2nd ODI against Australia in Visakhapatnam, Batter was out for 31 off Nathan Ellis as he missed the flick down the leg side. The manner of his dismissal was similar to that of the first ODI in which he was hit on the pads by Mitchell Starc and dismissed for four runs. Former India captain and batsman Sunil Gavaskar was unhappy that Kohli made the same mistake of playing across the line in the second ODI.

“He’s played across the line once again. Yeah, he knows that (his mistake). It’s something he’s getting out quite regularly, playing across the line nowadays. Playing towards square leg Wants to play, doesn’t even want to play, Gavaskar commented on Star Sports: “Towards mid-on, and that gets him into trouble.”

Speaking of the Indian innings, Starc once again proved to be the main tormentor as his five-wicket haul bundled out the hosts for 117 in the second ODI against Australia.

Starc, who took three wickets in the previous match, took 5 for 53 in eight overs, including a four-wicket haul in his first spell, as India were bowled out for their third-lowest total against Australia in just 26 overs.

With the nip off the surface providing plenty of help, Starc hit a perfect back-of-the-length delivery with some angle to the right arm and some that came after pitching.

The decisive loss was done by Starc, while Sean Abbott (3/23) and Nathan Ellis (2/13) then struck hard in the lower-middle order on what proved to be a disastrous day for the hosts.
