GSHSEB Exams: 7.8 Lakh Class 10 Students Appear in Basic Maths Exam | ahmedabad news

AHMEDABAD: On the third day of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s (GSHSEB) final exams, 7.8 lakh Class 10 students appeared for the basic maths exam on Friday.
According to experts and students the question paper was quite easy.
Meanwhile, students who took the Class 12 general stream economics exam found it easier than they expected, but some found it lengthy. The exam began on March 14 and will end on March 29.
The subject experts said that there were no difficult questions and most of them were from textbooks.
Mathematics teacher Maulik Shah said that questions were generally asked in basic mathematics paper. Alkesh Thakkar, another Mathematics teacher, said that most of the questions were from Chapters 12, 14, 15 and 24, which were quite easy. The teachers said that even students who are considered weak in the subject have to score at least 45 marks.
Some class 12 students said that they could not complete the question paper in time as it was very long.
