
Delhi University’s Mansarovar Hostel has asked students to vacate the hostel within a week amid the continuous rise in the number of corona cases in Delhi. With the easing of lockdown restrictions, all educational institutions are advising students to return to their hometowns for their safety.
The Provost of Mansarovar Hostel said in a circular, “This is to inform the residents of Mansarovar Hostel that they will have to vacate the hostel premises and go back to their native place (within a week) in view of the outbreak of COVID-19. All residents are strongly advised to return to their homes and take precautions as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India.
Jawaharlal Nehru University also directed its students to vacate the hostels after a pharmacist at the university’s health center tested positive for COVID-19.
