Even when not in Paris, nothing stops Anushka Sharma from gorging on buttery, flaky French pastries. What’s the best thing about her recent croissant foray? It was filled with a generous amount of melted chocolate. We bet you, one glimpse of the sweet treat shared by Anushka in the last slide – will leave you craving for chocolate croissants. Anushka Sharma’s candid post speaks volumes about her love for food. From a regional platter in a foreign land to the treachery of her food, we have picked her top five foodies that have always left us craving. let’s take a look:

1. When in Thailand…
Anushka Sharma recently flew to Bangkok due to her work commitments. She enjoyed her daily dose of greens in the form of a plate of fried beans. This was followed by the presentation of ‘Made in Heaven Pairing’ – Mango and Sticky Rice. Sweet dishes and traditional coconut water were icing on the cake. Here’s a look at her Bangkok diaries.

2. Soya Chaap
Earlier this year, Anushka Sharma along with her husband Virat Kohli visited a temple in Kakarighat near Nainital in Uttarakhand. It was clear that the power couple had a delicious meal while soaking up the sun in the mountains. Virat and Anushka enjoyed a tandoori dish that is extremely popular in the northern part of the country: a delicious plate of soya chaap. Know about it here.

4. South Indian Classic
Anushka Sharma loves traditional food. The actress clearly has a special place in her heart for South Indian cuisine. And, ‘Thatte Idli’ from Karnataka tops the list. Thatte’s idli is slightly bigger than the common idli and ‘gunpowder’ is also applied on it. We also saw the tempering of mustard seeds which enhanced the taste of the idli. 5. Maharashtrian Thali
The actress loves multiple platters of delicious food but the Maharashtrian spread rules the rest – simple, comforting and flavourful. Once he tasted varan bhat (lentils and rice), which was served with flakes of top (ghee) and masala bhat (rice dish) cooked in a mixture of spices and vegetables such as green peas. Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma is gearing up for the release of her OTT project Chakda Express.‘ This is a film based on the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
