
The Board of Secondary Education Assam, or SEBA, will declare the Class 10th results on June 6, Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said at a press conference.
The results will be declared from 9 am on the official website – resultsassam.nic.in. To check their results, candidates will need their login credentials such as roll number and registration number. The exams were conducted from February 10 to February 28 and this year more than 3 lakh students appeared in the exam.
Earlier, Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that digital mark sheets will be given to the students. The decision was taken keeping in mind the importance of social-distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hard copies of marksheets will be distributed later after the situation becomes normal.
The minister also announced that admission to higher secondary institutions under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or AHSEC, will be done completely in online mode.
