Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy reviews the situation arising out of heavy rains

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered officials to immediately start calculating the damage caused by the unseasonal rains so that hapless farmers could be compensated.
Taking stock of the heavy rains and thunderstorms that lashed several parts of the State for the last three days and on the morning of March 19, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the calculation of crop loss should be completed in a week.
He then asked the top officials of the concerned departments to take all possible steps to provide relief to the farmers.
The CM directed that the District Collector should monitor the situation from time to time so that no untoward incident takes place.
