All-electric BMW i5 teased for the first time: Will join the 8th-gen 5 Series

The luxury carmaker is working towards launching the 8th-gen BMW 5 Series in the international market in October 2023. In addition to the i5 version, next generation bmw 5 series The petrol will also be available in diesel, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.

The next-generation BMW 5 Series will be launched globally in October 2023, followed by its India launch. We are hopeful that the BMW i5 electric sedan will make its way to the Indian market as well.
Currently, the BMW 5 Series is priced between Rs 65.40 lakh to Rs 74.50 lakh in India (both prices are ex-showroom), the 8th generation BMW 5 Series will be priced higher than the older generation 5 Series.
