Rani Mukherjee’s Mrs. Chatterjee v. NorwayThe film, which released across the cinema halls on Friday, has been receiving a lot of love from its friends in the industry. Filmmaker Gauri Khan also expressed enthusiasm for Rani’s new film. He wrote: “Best wishes Mrs. Chatterjee v. Norway…lots of love.” Earlier, Gauri Khan’s husband Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to review the film. He wrote, “What a tremendous effort by the entire team of the film.” Mrs. Chatterjee v. Norway, Meri Rani shines in the central role as only a queen can. Director Ashima portrays a human struggle with such sensitivity. Rani Mukerji and Gauri Khan’s husband Shah Rukh Khan starred in several films together, including Sometimes happiness, sometimes sorrow, never say goodbye, something happens (all three directed by Karan Johar), while going, puzzle And Veer Zaara, to name a few. Besides this, Shah Rukh Khan has worked with Rani Mukerji’s husband Aditya Chopra in several hit films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi And Mohabbatein, all of which were directed by him. Coming back to Rani’s film, the film depicts the story of an immigrant Indian mother Devika Chatterjee (Rani Mukerji) leading an idyllic life in Norway with her husband and their two children. Her life takes a drastic turn after her children are taken away from the Norwegian foster care system due to cultural differences. She decides to go all the way for her children.
